This can be easily done.

Just drag the node window inside other window.

Then shutdown-save it by green cross.

Do the save with the parent window.

Now delete the internal window node  - all its tab will drop to outer window - now when you restore this outer window it will have as own as new tabs.

You can see the introduction video from Chrome Web Store - i show this trick several times in it.

Actually it is looks like you don't have the TreeStyleTabs option enabled. As people who have unlikely will have such problems, for them all the tabs is already grouped by some other parent tab, and it is only needed to drag one this tab to other window to transfer them all.

Meantime no.

The simplest workaround solution would be to place the tabs hierarchy in some Group, maybe in place (place Group nearby the parent tab, then move the parent tab to the group),  and then activate the Group by double click.

It is generally a bad idea to enable any extension in Incognito window. So i really advise to pull the switch back.

what is the reasons to store incognito windows in the Tabs Outliner tree if it is so sensitive and dangerous if somebody can found the traces of visiting there links...

Unfortunately Chrome does not support real sidebars as FF and other browsers. It is possible to imitate this to some extent using separate windows. It was tried and i didn't like it, it has too many shortcomings. So meantime we have what we have, till the chrome team will not add support of sidebars for extensions.

> this can be very dangerous for our identity (and for many others in sensitive work or locations around the world)

Just please don't enable the Tabs Outliner in incognito mode. And you sensitive information will be fine. This is the default and there is reasons for this, as you already found, some of them.

Or consider to create a new separate  profile for your incognito related work, if it is happens to have dozen of windows every time.

> It appears that opening incognito is simply providing the -incognito switch when starting up a window/tab, so hopefully this would be easy to fix?

No it's not as easy as you think. The issue is way more complicated than just reopening the windows in incognito mode. The incognito mode is not supported meantime, and most likely will never be. Please disable the Tabs Outliner for your incognito windows.

will think about this...

Anyway, maybe worth to contact the authors of all of this dozen tabs renamers so they will fix own creations?

There is also common request to be able to open the TO view using the keyboard shortcut. Worth to note that this is already possible. See the Chrome Settings->Extensions-> "Configure commands" links in the bottom of the page

This is NUMBER ONE task after i will finish the solution to sync the tree between PCs and to the Cloud.

Many other cool front end improvements awaiting my hands, but this is definitely must be done in a first order.

Please see there instructions of how to transfer your database:

https://groups.google.com/d/msg/tabs-outliner-support-group/eKubL9Iw230/wQXOP1m90NoJ

Also worth note that there is really easy way to backup and transfer your data:

Just expand all nodes, save the view through Ctrl-S and you will be able to drag hierarchies from this file to some other Tabs Outliner instance, or just use this file on its own.
