How do your exit from Chrome when this happens?

By Chrome Exit, or just by closing the last window?

- Do you have "Continue where I left off"  enabled (well it is actually recommended to disable it if yes)?

- is this happens every time on close?

- How long do you use Tabs Outliner (how many nodes you have? this can be seen if you collapse the root node)

A MUCH better solution is to just disable back the TabsOutliner in Incognito mode (as it is by default), and do not use it for managing your incognito windows.

I think you have only few of them anyway and unlikely they need to be managed in TO as they most likely have very special purpose. In other cases using the separate profile for such activities have much more sense.

Supporting incognito mode is not a small problem unfortunately. And this is further complicated by Chrome bugs in Incognito mode for extensions API.

This is big work and not something in a high priority. So i will not promise you quick fix for this.
(And actually It is a bad idea to enable extensions in Incognito, they are disabled in incognito mode for a reason)

The only thing i can advise you as a workaround is to create separate profile in Chrome, specially for your incognito activities where you want to track something using the TO. And install the separate TO instance in this profile. Then you will be able to clear this profile data (the cookies, the history, and thing like this) separately from your main Chrome profile.

Definitely planed. I hope will manage to release this and many other small but important improvements this summer.

Also need to find better issue tracker, as i starting to dislike this system, which is cannot be configured to maintain chronological order of posts if they not cascaded on one another...

Yet you right - the better search is a must, and definitely must be done.

Also thinking about incorporating omnibox search as quick alternative...

First of all it not just drag & drop. The tabs is mainly always grouped in some hierarchies, or at least by window nodes. So actually you most of the time will operate by dozen of tabs every time you will drag & drop something.

Seems our mileage is really vary, very useful for me for example, i often reopen and reorganize something saved, tag, comment and search all of this easily. That not to say that there is no room to improve. But to saying that it is useless... well, will not argue, want you money back? : )

Anyway, good to know this tool helps you to rediscover the bookmarks and find a better system for yourself. Hope Tabs Outliner will improves with a help of the users who really support it. And who knows, maybe one day it will acquit the Outliner title for you and you will install it back.

Also will add that I use bookmarks very often, every day many times, to open often visited sites.

So this is not a replacement for bookmarks.

Take look on my bookmarks bar - a use them all every day (and as you see some of them in folders to open links in sets by one midleclick):

that is a real screenshot from my current desktop, the bookmarks bar is actually longer... and you can even see some of my fake tags on it (really use it that way).
