As a long time paid user, I'm delighted that the developer has updated TO. I was aware of the coming change that threatened its continued functioning.
I hope he will continue developing TO as it is still, by far, the best tabs management extension for Chrome based browsers, even though the paid features don't work on some of them (Brave, and others?).
This is a great start to replacing TO. I moved to Brave (from Chrome) and was able to continue using TO but not as a paid user. Even though Link Map doesn't support Brave (yet?) I've found a way of getting all my TO links into the Brave installation of Link Map.
Also, Garin, please provide more instructions. Keep up the good work!!!
Had the same problem, and also found other problems it caused:
- that it messed up the order of my tabs,
- duplicated a pinned OneTab tab (yes, I use both)
- created multiple entries in the tree for the tabs outliner window, which couldn't be removed until chrome was re-started
Disabling #enable-fast-unload seems to fix it.
However, this 'crashed' problem is still there, and is really quite annoying as the outliner fills up very quickly with all the tabs from each session and each window. I often have several Chrome windows open on each monitor - each with multiple tabs, and so my TO list is huge. Even using the TO exit button leaves the TO window open.
Also, using the TO exit button just marks the previous session as closed instead of crashed. Not sure this solves the problem at all.

I've just enabled it by going back to the email with the activation link, and re-activating it in Brave. It still asks "Please, allow email access and turn Sync on to enable them", but has activated the Google Drive backs and allowed me to make a backup.
The backup looks ok, and when I copied a node back into the current Brave TO window, it opened all the tabs correctly.
