99% of the tabs in the tree for heavily tabiters is not saved by them intentionally or organized. They are crashed. And as so what is the most needed it is the ability to quickly reopen, review and get rid of them, as simple as possible.
But even in a case that you describe it seems that you are just don't know the tools you use. There is easy possibility to reopen any unintentionally closed tab or window in Chrome. Google for "Restore Recently Closed Tabs in Chrome", or read the FAQ in the TO.
And sorry man, we all humans. I hope you understand, but I have no desire to continue any talks with you after you ignore my ask to help the project by 5 stars and instead hurting it by placing the 2. I there for some time already, and i found that speaking with such haters, or even listening to them, just a complete waste of my time and energy.
Best.
I plan to introduce the features which will close all this mentioned annoyances. Yet thanks for you posting. Actually by reading all of this to my mind come some really useful changes to what i already plan as a solution of the problems you mention,
As for giving the ability to edit titles of tabs. I actually experiment with this, and found that it is actually not very practical or astonishingly needed, and actually pollute interface without big needs and add a lot to the learning curve - which is already steep and uncommon as for some extension (i am not need bunch of new "too complex"(3 stars) reviews). But functionality is there. Maybe i will allow to enable it in options.
More serious problems is now have much bigger priorities. This is all nuances in compassion.
Storing TO tree in Chrome bookmarks technically is very unpractical It will not be done - it's for sure. Yet there will be other way to store the tree in the Cloud.
Maybe you can start a separate feature request and describe what exactly you want and how you want it to work. I am not sure i understand it all very well.
Thanks for screenshot. I am not a Ubunta user... so not sure, i see the Untitled label, but also i see that the TabsOuliner window have correct title in own title bar. Don't know what it is mean... but it think if title-bar is correct than everything is good. Not sure why it is "untitled" if the title bar present and contain name.
Is this the only problem?
For Ubunta 12.04 its shows name normal...
Can you mention you Chrome\Chromium version also please
7000 more users and one more 1 star rate. Very similar in the own deepness by the way. But i think it just not worth to republish there all the 1 star rates reviews to not provoke even more : )) So this privilege will always belong only for my first official hater : )) which is by the way update own rate to 2 stars, after several months of use : ))
Bu the way.
- TO is now store window position and sizes (yet this must be enabled in options), as own as for saved windows.
- TO is always utilize the Chrome cache on restore
- It is possible to disable all auto-scrolling (also in options)
- And to restore the history of Back button - it is just impossible in Chrome now, there is why no any extension for Chrome do it. But who need this, if i want preserve my track i always just leave it in the tree - by opening the new tab as child of the current one (midleclick) and not deleting the parent.
Most funny thing is that he was update recently, after latest update, own rate from 1 star to 2 stars : ))) Encouraging : )). Hi says "step by step it gets better" : )) Yeah not as fast as even I want of course. But I plan some big updates in upcoming months.

Yet for any other who might read this worth to mention that in future version there will as the pin button as the history view, as the internal undo, as the tree enabled history which will allow to revert or review the tree in any past point of the time.
And good rates just enable this to happen faster, as with them there bigger stream of good users, who support and help. Of course with them there also a bigger stream of users like Aaron. But i recently just open for myself the solution to this problem...
