Unfortunately i was not being able to create a stable business out of this product, we are really a very small community.
But the development is restarted for now, i soon plan to release many long awaited fixes and then continue with new features.
So, not, not dead, and not dying, and everything will be fine, as with me as with this really cool tool, on which we all really depend. And you purchases actually will make this possible, so thanks a lot for your support.

Have for now huge problems with the domain and the support process.

After purchase you should have been presented with the web page with the link, clicking on which should have been activate Tabs Outliner. In additional you should have been get the same link in separate message to your email. Please check. The key is embedded in this link.

If you cannot find it, please email me to vladyslav.volovyk@gmail.com (and please duplicate to support@tabsoutliner.com) your Chrome Profile Serial Number, it must be listed on the purchase form, where you are asked to enter your name and email and payment method details. I will create new Activation Link for you.

You can try open options by right clicking on the extension icon. And then from there backup current tree to GoogleDrive or just export to file and then open it in Backup view. If this succeeded you can safely uninstall Tabs Outliner and install it's again, this will reset the tree. Then you will be able to start new tree and use your exported tree as archive (it's not editable, but hierarchies from BackupView can be drag and dropped back to the main tree).

Sorry for a delayed reply, it's better to use support@tabsoutliner.com for support, I am monitor this group less often (much less often).

The difference between paid and free mode is explained in details in the Help, please check the Paid Features section.

In short - yes, basically for you it's only add an automatic backup and keyboard shortcuts (also the clipboard functionality), and for me it's enables the possibility to continue work on this project further and eventualy implement many new awesome features.

Any ideas of what might be a good replacement for "Ins" key on MAC?

It's actually a big problem if you version is 1.4.130 and you still see this typo.... thanks for reporting this, i will investigate how this is possible, maybe some chrome cashes issue, but if this true than maybe many other users still cannot get required bug fixes.

How exactly you restarted Chrome? Closing all windows is not enough, need explicitly click the Exit menu item in Chrome menu to perform complete restart.
