Seems like the development of this is completely dead. I upgraded to pro but there are still lots of bugs that need to be worked out

Show correct shortcut on Mac OS X

Spencer Sutton 9 lat temu zaktualizowano 9 lat temu 4

In the right click menu and help screen it should show the correct keyboard shortcuts. As far as I can tell this only affects shortcuts with Ctrl in them.

For copy, paste and cut: replace Ctrl with Cmd

For moving items: Cmd+Ctrl+Arrow works instead of just Cmd or Ctrl+Arrow.

Ctrl+Home and Ctrl+End work like expected.

Open Link in Last Window: Ctrl+Shift+Click works instead of just Ctrl+Click

Ctrl+S should be Cmd+S

Ctrl+P works as is.

Ctrl+F should be Cmd+F

Edit: Updated with more accurate info.

Remember window size and position

Graham Smith 12 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez David L 9 lat temu 11

Would it be possible to remember the size and position of a window that is save-closed? When a window is re-opened at the moment it always appears full height regardless of what it looked like when it was closed.

Some possibility to restore windows in original position if they was saved-closed by green-x or by "close all" is already there for sometime, but this must be enabled in options to work.

Yet the changed position of windows will not be remembered if they was saved automatically in the result of crash or because, for example, they have the custom title or placed inside some group (in this case on close initiated from Chrome they become saved, but with the size and position they have on open, not on close).

The reason for this - to make it work in all cases need implement constant pooling for windows sizes (it's not a CPU or resources friendly and i just don't like this idea), also will be needed to initiate the save on any window size change, and in future an a synchronize event which will goes to server side to synchronize the database. All of this raise too big issues for such a small feature.

Maybe it will be improved in future to cover more cases, when there will be no other more important problems anymore.

Option to auto-close (and save) tabs after period of time (like tabmemfree do)

vladyslav volovyk 12 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Sridhar Dhanapalan 7 lat temu 15

Add an option to close(unload) tab and windows which hanging for too long (for example several hours or days) but leave them in tree as saved, with adequate remark (that they was autoclosed)

UPDATE: leave them by default not in the main tree but in a separate tree, specially for auto-closed items, with an ability to drag windows to the main tree and restore them this way. And autoclose and leave in the main tree if some tab or window itself have some custom marks or note.

Personally i don't think that this is something useful (have to many open tabs? simple click Close-Save All and start from scratch). I think that auto-closing process for windows might make them harder to delete from tree forever, as to decide delete or not it might require to see the content, and as so, to restore the window (which is more long in compare with bring to front already open). Also this will be constant source of garbage in the tree. Never actually understand this auto-closing extensions and how they might prevent tab clutter or be any useful, yet tabmemfree have 10 times more users than Tabs Outliner : ).

I think if somebody like this approach it is better to actually use separate extension for this. Then autoclosed items will be accumulated in a separate list, managed by separate extention, and the tree will be free of auto-produced garbage.

Yet it is not hard to do, and users in Chrome Web Store reviews asking for this feature. So if this feature will accumulate many votes (or donations ; ) it might be implemented.

Maybe really even as separate tree, specially for auto closed items, with an ability to restore them by dragging in the main tree.

Drag and Drop Nodes Not working

JamEnslaver 1 rok temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Pat George 1 rok temu 1

Since last week I am no longer able to drag nodes around in the tree view. This includes not being able to

  • Reorder windows in the tree
  • Reorder tabs within a tree
  • Move tabs from one window to another

This seems to apply to other types of notes as well (e.g. groups, dividers).

Can't buy license on chrome, told to sign in despite being signed in

monroe walker 5 lat temu 0

I've tried updating the browser, signing out and back in, etc. Can't seem to get through the license purchase flow. Just keep seeing this message:

Warning: Chrome is not Signed In.
Chrome Sign In required to validate your license key and to configure online backup on your Google Drive account. Please Sign In to Chrome and try again.
Alternatively you can open Sign In to Chrome dialog from Chrome settings, or by clicking the Profile name on the top right of any normal Chrome window (above the tabs strip).
