Window, Group, or Note Above Current Node

Ethan il y a 6 ans 0

Tabs Outliner would be even more useful if there was a shortcut to create a window or group above the current node that included the current node in it. Of course, the "Note" node makes this easy, as it is only a few keystrokes away from organization, but the Window and Group nodes cause a bit of trouble with this because they always open a new tab. I may be glancing over something obvious (other than the fact that you can drag a note out of a larger window to create a separate one), but a shortcut to do something like this, or even switch between windows and boxes (assuming there is a difference) would be useful.

Dragging node hardly works on Linux

Brendan Weibrecht il y a 6 ans mis à jour par Jeffrey Gipson il y a 3 ans 6

Dragging a node is very difficult now on my Linux machine, since about a week ago. Nothing changes under the mouse I while I'm dragging the tab, and then when I release it, Tabs Outliner is frozen for about 10 seconds, then finally moves the tab.

I have 15,287 nodes, so I don't know if this is related. Luckily I am still able to move things around with the keyboard shortcuts for now.

I tested with 20 000 visible nodes with Chrome Canary and looks like this bug is fixed in Canary now. But it might take several months actually until current Chrome version will be replaced by current Canary version.

Changed window names not saving

TAG il y a 7 ans 0

I think this is just me doing something wrong, but I can'f figure out what. Before I buy a license, I need to know tabs outliner will do one thing that I really need it to do: remember the new names I give windows. I have no trouble renaming them, but the next time I open my browser, all the names have gone back to "Window." With a lot of windows open, that can make it a real hassle to go through and figure out which one is which.

I *know* this feature must work because no one else has mentioned it not working. But what could I be doing wrong?

Change Ctrl+B to Ctrl+Shift+B

David il y a 7 ans mis à jour par Rogerio Souza il y a 7 ans 3

It seems the default shortcut to bring up TO is Ctrl+B, but I need this shortcut in Google Docs to bold text. Chrome has changed their default shortcut to Ctrl+Shift+B to accomodate for this, could TO change this as well? I don't see anywhere to change it in the options.

Local backup option

It would be really nice if backing up to a mounted network drive were possible where use of google drive is prevented

Tabs Outliner as only tabs manager.

MyImagination il y a 7 ans 0

I would like to use Tabs Outliner not only to supplement tab management but to also (because I like it so much) use it in place of chrome's default tab management.  Basically I want to have the actual tabs/new tab line in the chrome window completely hidden.  Ideally Tabs Outliner would become attachable -it would act as a sidebar- as part of the same window that I have open in place of the current tabs view.  This may be more complex than I realize and require a custom browser to implement but I figure it could be an interesting and useful idea to some of us.  Thank you.

No easy way to know if you are licensed...

Rex Winn il y a 8 ans 0

I paid for and have the license URL. It copied it off the clipboard once. From then on it keeps nagging me to "paid mode" to support the project or whatever.

Can you make it easier to apply the license once and for all? Also, make the nagging go away? It's an awesome powerful app otherwise. A wiki would be great too.

Keyboard Shortcut for opening tab from search

Taras D il y a 8 ans mis à jour par Erick Rodriguez il y a 8 ans 3

To be able to search for tabs and remain mouse free, I think you need a way of activating the tab that's matching the current search pattern. Currently once you've found the tab you need to grab the mouse and manually click.

Is there a way to recover lost sessions

Jay Bee il y a 8 ans mis à jour par Erick Rodriguez il y a 8 ans 2

I uninstalled Chrome stating to delete backups. I then reinstalled Chrome and had to reinstall TO. Now I cannot find my old sessions. Is there a way to recover these old sessions.
