Back-Up Error
Hi, I've been using Tabs Outliner for quite a while now & it’s been working great. But for the past week, I've been getting an error that it can’t back up my tabs. I thought I'd reinstall it, which just made things many times worse. I lost my entire tab structure & I had paid for it a long time ago which always transferred over but it didn’t after I reinstalled it. I thought I would pay again but it’s not even acknowledging my purchase. Now I can't even edit what I have there to even recreate it. Please help!

Time to revisit sidebar implementation?
Now that chrome has an experimental sidebar maybe it is time to revisit the idea of an optional sidebar implementation in the spirit of Firefox's Tree Style Tabs?
The option to activate the sidebar is at chrome://flags/#side-panel ... it's a shame it can't be moved to the left yet but those features are bound to come in the future.
Filter Chrome apps/shortcuts with no tab capability
As a user of Google Workspace/ G Suite I have numerous desktop applications which are really dedicated Chrome windows. These are unrelated to my workflow of using Chrome as a browser and having tabs grouped by window. I do not want these windows to show in Tabs Outliner, since they are not tabbed and have no tab capability and hamper my ability to organize my tabs across browser sessions.
To reproduce this try opening apps like Keep, Calendar, Drive, GMail within their own window - for some apps this follows the Progressive Web App (https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/9658361), for others it is just a shortcut (Menu > More Tools > Create shortcut).
At present, these windows manifest as "Window (pop-up)" in the Tabs Outliner tree and must be expanded to see their name. Probably this use case would be solved by the big "filter" feature (https://tabsoutliner.userecho.com/communities/1/topics/146-ability-to-filter-tabs-not-just-use-built-in-search) however that is such a wide ranging and powerful feature, it might also be useful to target a smaller and more specific use-case like this as a first step.
Bottom toolbar blocks clicking (and any other action) at the bottom.
The bottom toolbar (that autohides until you hover over) is wider than appears.
You can't click or do any action to the right of it, which is annoying if you have a lot of tabs (which is what this extension is for) and you are operating on the bottom of the window.
You need to scroll up a bit, until the tabs you are interested in are above the (hidden) toolbar, to be able to click it.
Very nice functional extension
T-O is a very helpful extension. It would be nice to see it written for other browsers -- as I have some concerns about the tracking of personal data and actions that Google performs across all its products, including Chrome. I use Opera most of the time, except when financial websites do not support it. Firefox is my second choice. Chrome, sadly, is supported by nearly all websites, so that may be the first one I open when I have a variety ot tasks ahead of me.
advanced / power-user theming options (CSS)
Allow manual CSS input for theming, perhaps hidden under an "advanced" toggle button (Chrome settings style).
This would allow those of us who can CSS to quickly style the tree to our liking, and perhaps provide a way to experiment for an upcoming updated UI and (perhaps, as a bonus, not my request), themes.
I absolutely love this addon (so much that I paid for it right away, not even sure I need the "paid" features), and really the only thing I see ATM to make it great is a prettier theme (I, for one, would go with something much more barebones / minimalistic and that would fit better with Chrome's UI).
Update: I have found out about Devtool's "Local Overrides" feature (has to be enabled in settings) allows persisting of edits under a local folder - meaning it's also possible to sync the edits between multiple machines, so there's no need to wait for those that want to start tweaking the UI right away.
Is the paid version ~$15 (total) or ~$15/month?
Hi all -- I love this extension!
I've read through the thread on the paid version price, and, like others there, would love to know the actual price before entering my email address to generate a license key. From the discussion, it's not clear to me whether the paid version is ~$15 (total) or ~$15/month. Is someone able to clarify? Thank you so much for a great product!
Don't load all tabs when restoring window (or when starting up browser for first time, or when restoring a window/set of tabs from history)
Don't load all tabs when restoring several tabs in any way (Restoring window from tabs outliner, Browser startup Restoring a window/set of tabs from history/recently closed)
Worded differently: Only load the active tab when restoring 2 or more tabs. (Don't load the inactive tabs)
Would like to pay for a firefox version. Would also be happy to work with you on making a Tabs Outliner 2.0, I've written like 12+ chrome extensions, writing javascript for 7 or so years
Support for OSX Shortcuts (Control + Arrow Key is a system binding)
OSX has some of the current keyboard shortcuts already mapped. Consequently, when trying to use keyboard shortcuts for Tab Outliner, the system takes priority rendering the shortcuts useless
