Tabs Outliner was once rock stable and one of my favorite tools. Now, my system is very different and Tabs Outliner crashes regularly.

Because I want to use Tabs Outliner to back up my Chrome sessions and help me to remember what I need to do, crashes are quite a nuisance. I typically have MANY open tabs. But it used to work just fine.

I want to troubleshoot the problem. I've disabled almost every other extension. What else can I do to identify or fix the problem? I'm NOT saying the fault lies with Tabs Outliner! But that is where the symptom appears.

Hi, i'm trying to get used to Tabs Outliner.

It's a great product, and I'm hoping to get a handle on my tab "problem" soon using this cool utility.

But I have a question: I can't find / figure out a hotkey to create a new Group under the cursor? I looked a few times already, but couldn't find it... so I'm dragging them from the menu at the bottom... but it's kind of... a drag... :) ...

I wouldn't write if I hadn't figured out by accident that pressing "L" while hovering the tree somewhere creates a dividing line... then I thought... there *HAS* to be a shortcut for creating groups! :D

Unfortunately "G" doesn't seem to work? Or is it maybe another plugin I'm using which breaks the shortcut? Should G work?

Or am I using groups the wrong way anyways?

I figured I'd create a catchall / quick group for some browser windows collecting dust and start dragging windows + tabs in there to get a handle on them quickly. Isn't that how I should be able to use them?

"Open Tabs Outliner" is not an option in Keyboard Shortcuts for Extensions and Apps. I have the paid version. What's weird is that it was once there. Now gone

I'm wondering if you might be willing to provide a tutorial of your useful extension that avoids a showing of how fast numerous things can be rapidly clicked on and/or dragged about (with no verbal explanation), and instead provide verbal step by step guidance moving from your best/ more general features to some of your other features? The number of users willing to pay for your extension will be proportionate to how easy it is to learn and to use effectively. Start out slower in steps like you were effectively teaching a a best friend a best-recipe, then after they have had an opportunity to see how easy it is to 'make' it -- then, blow them away with how fast you are able to use Tabs Outliner

The scroll bar in the TO window is very narrow. My wife is disabled and has poor mouse control, so she is always in danger with the TO window of the mouse straying onto the 'trash' icon. She's always worried about deleting nodes or tabs by accident. I tried changing the scroll bar width both by editing the Windows registry, and also with a Chrome extension (Rescroller), and these can both change the scroll bar width in every window (and Chrome main browser window) but neither affects the TO window (not sure why this is). Can TO be edited somewhere to change this? She does not want to zoom the TO window in, just make the scroll bar wider (and/or move the trash/close icons further away from the scroll bar). Any chance of a solution? Great extension!

One can already double click on a saved (but closed) tab to open it. The mirror operation would be to close (and save) it with a double click as well. Of course this performs the same action as the green x. However, because we do not need to mouse to that icon, it would be more convenient as well. Thank you.

I had some problems with my bookmarks not syncing across my computers. On my main computers I decided to sign out of my chrome browser and sign back in - completely unaware that this would wipe my entire tabsoutliner history!!!!!!!!!!! SO now my bookmarks are syncing - I have now lost all my tabs "pulls hair out*.

Surely there is a way I can restore the tabs data. I have restored data from iPhones and computers before, quite long after it is deleted, so I am going to remain hopeful.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

my tab outlines represent the history of the stuff I've worked on. So, it would be cool to have some timestamps to help me reconstruct my activities for a given timeframe. It might also be useful for cleaning up my outlines if timestamps could be used to do things like "delete all entries not accessed since <date> or for <number of days/months>"
