open all children

Birch Champeon il y a 11 ans mis à jour par vladyslav volovyk il y a 11 ans 1

I just installed Tabs Outliner today.  Perhaps I'm missing it, but I would like a way of opening all the child tabs of a parent tab.  I've tried dbl-click and mdl-click with the tree expanded and collapsed. Every time, just the parent tab that opens.

Is there a way to open all the child-tabs of a parent tab?

Fuzzy search for all entries in TO

dreign il y a 8 ans mis à jour par Tomeg Tomeg il y a 7 ans 5

Using the mouse is very annoying and consumes much time. Please implement a fuzzy search with a hotkey, so that the user just needs to hit his hotkey, type a few characters and hit enter to navigate really fast through all entries in TO

Scroll not working and Unresponsive after latest Chrome update

Pavel Khijniak il y a 10 ans mis à jour par vladyslav volovyk il y a 10 ans 4
Just updated chrome, and now the scroll is not working if dragged by mouse (Page Up/ Down from keyboard does still work) and every couple of minutes Chrome throws "Pages Unresponsive" dialog box.
Solution

Was a problem in Chrome itself.

As for now the problem is fixed in the latest Chrome STABLE.

PLEASE UPGRADE YOUR CHROME to version 32.0.1700.102 (through About dialog)

Option to "save-close" a tab by default when closing it normally (e.g. Ctrl-W or clicking the X button)

FichteFoll il y a 12 ans mis à jour par vladyslav volovyk il y a 11 ans 39

I can imagine this has limited use but I like the idea of save-closing tabs from within the window or the actual browser.

A good alternative would be a hotkey to save-close the current tab (e.g. Ctrl+Alt+W) or a modifier key when pressing the x button (if it's possible to hook that).

Btw, is it possible to hide the tab bar completely? Can't find anything.

Solution
vladyslav volovyk il y a 12 ans

hotkey is impossible without embedding a script on every page, which will require access to tabs content, which i am strongly against (not only because of the security reasons, but also because this is VERY resources unfriendly, for example there is some extension which utilize this, if you will try to install them when you have several hundreds open tabs, Chrome will crash or will be unresponsive for half a hour). There some rumors that google work on some hotkeys possibilities for extensions, yet i don't know actually.

It is also impossible to add modifier key to to close tab.

And It is impossible to hide tab bar, as far as i know.

Yet it is possible to add additional extension button to address bar. Maybe I will do this, I was already think about something like this, especially when there will be custom icons for tabs functionality, i have plans to add them from address bar also, by this button (with a menu) in addressbar line.

Publish API for Tabs Outliner and maybe create an extensions mechanism

I keep having ideas about how I would be more productive with 'Tabs Outliner.'  I would love if there was an API to write extensions for Tab Outliner!

Duplicate Tabs

RST il y a 6 ans mis à jour par Nathan Alan il y a 6 ans 4

With the latest Chrome update (Chrome 65), Tabs Outliner is now duplicating tabs in the TO view. When opening the Tabs Outliner Window by clicking on the TO extension button, the Tabs Outliner Windows is opened twice as well.

I see this on two different computers, one with Windows 8.1 and another one with Windows 10.

Chrome settings for on startup:

(X) Open the New Tab page

      Continue where you left off

Open a specific page or set of pages

After I close the Window (for example Test) and re-open it, the tabs are duplicated again.

Any idea how to solve this? I am a heavy TO user and have the paid version as well, but currently it is unusable!

Do you need any additional information to reproduce?

Google drive backup not working in paid

Don Alvarez il y a 6 ans mis à jour par Anthony DeChiaro il y a 6 ans 1

Fairly new paid user, love the app, google drive backups aren't working.

Details: In Tabs Outliner Options/Backup I see two Google Drive backups, both created on my first day of use. I'm now a week in, no more automatic backups, and if I click "Backup now" the progress indicator just spins forever on "Connecting..."

Additional details: I generally sign into chrome from a different account than I use for email. The extension is registered to the account I use when signing into chrome (and all other paid features are working) but the Tabs Outliner Options/Paid Features tab lists the email account I had you sent the license to, not the account I sign into chrome as. Is it possible you're incorrectly using the "send to" email rather than the "logged in as" email when trying to connect to google drive? That's the only unusual thing I can think of that I'm doing.

If you'd like me to use fiddler or chrome developer tools or similar to try to catch something in the network connection or similar, I can do that.

stored tabs get mixed in too easily with crashed tabs

BenR il y a 10 ans mis à jour par Luke Flegg il y a 4 ans 8
Hi, so I use "resume where I left off" in order to get back to the windows that I had open in Chrome when I reboot my computer. If I try to use "tabs outliner" to put some tabs into storage, after my chrome windows are opened again,
1) I get a bunch of "crashed" tabs listed in tabs outliner.  I'd be happy if I could turn this off.
2) my stored tabs are sorted along with the "crashed" tabs, but copies are not mixed in with the currently opened tabs, which came from the session restore.  It would be nice if the stored tabs were also mixed in with the re-opened tabs.

Or it would be nice if the stored tabs could be isolated so I could always find them whatever is happening with my other tabs.

This is keeping me from being able to use tabs outliner.

Known problem. Really this tool is mostly unusable for users who have the option "Continue where i left off" turned on.

This is because of the luck of appropriate API in Chrome itself, to correctly distinguish reopened tabs from new, and normally closed (on Chrome exit) from crashed

Mostly this tool is for a real tabs addicts, and they actually very rarely restart the Chrome, so this is not a huge issue for them.

Yet your suggestion to just give the option to turn off the crashed windows management might help to make it more compatible for your case.

Need to think. It might be quick and easy fix.
