Crashed windows do not save back/forward history

xfacter 8 lat temu zaktualizowano 8 lat temu 2
As the title states. When Chrome crashes for whatever reason, generally Chrome will bring up the windows/tabs open at the time again. These pages all retain their forward/back history, but do not retain their Tabs Outliner tree. Tabs Outliners also saves its own version of the pages, which retain their tree but NOT their forward/back history.

Add context menu for links to open links in "saved" state

Михаил Стрижов 9 lat temu zaktualizowano 9 lat temu 6

Useful then googling. Open a lot of pages in "saved" state, and then open pages one by one.

How to restore from saved .htm file?

qqwweerr 8 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez vladyslav volovyk 8 lat temu 1
I saved the outline to a .htm, then lost a window, so I want to restore from the saved .htm.  How do I do this?

Just drag and drop the hierarchy from saved html file back to main view, or use to reopen links directly

Is there a way to turn off auto save?

ven Torrella 10 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez vladyslav volovyk 8 lat temu 8

I can't seem to find it. I mean, I don't always reopen all previous tabs and I don't like to go through them every time I start chrome. Maybe put a "delete unopened tabs" button?

Opening closed tabs through TO causes all websites in that group to duplicate, opening 2 of each.

Cherie Avery 7 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez vladyslav volovyk 7 lat temu 1
I have several windows in my TO. Two of them are duplicating all the tabs in them when I double click to open the window so i get 2 tabs of every site. I've tried manually opening a new window, re-opening each url, and saving it in TO. But it still opens 2 of every tab. But I have other windows that don't do this. Any suggestions or thoughts to try?

Posting comments, questions in TO Forum does not work in Chrome

Mayank Mehrotra 9 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez vladyslav volovyk 9 lat temu 0
Don't know if this is a conflict issue with my Flashblock extensions or Plug-in Block, but I cannot post in the forums at all. When I click post in the "Submit new feedback" pop-up, the button says "Saving", and then nothing happens, and the button reverts back to saying "Post".

Any idea why this is happening?

Thanks.

Chrome have native flash block (click to play) abilities by the way, read the advice of how enable it in the Tabs Outliner help, the last item in the "Some useful tips" section  : )

Works for me much better than the external tools.

By the way, for a what forums you talk?

You cannot participate there in discussions?

Seems it is time to change the feedback system provider, from time to time there is such complains...

BIG Problems with the 1.4.122 Update (October 28, 2015)

tabsoutdbes1 7 lat temu zaktualizowano 7 lat temu 4

Vladyslav,

Thank you for updating Tabs Outliner.
However, you have created HUGE problems for me. You suddenly and unannounced disabled many features which I rely on. Especially the features related to importing and exporting (and copy and pasting) data. Critical features for anyone who has been attempting to workaround Tabs Outliner's limitations while we awaited development progress from you.
And then, as far as I can tell, the only way for me to get these features back is through a payment mechanism that I don't use. I use Chromium (not Chrome) because I choose not to submit my personal information to my web browser. And it seems like the only way to pay you to get the features back that I need requires me to make a personal profile in Chromium. I do not want to do this.
On top of it all, I am TWO days away from traveling overseas and in the midst of finalizing the build of a light-weight laptop that I can do work with while I am overseas. And now you have created a HUGE obstacle to me transferring my Tabs Outliner data to my travel computer!
Tabs Outliner is the centerpiece of my information management strategy. All of my notes for many many months are now completely locked up in Tabs Outliner on the verge of a big trip. I can no longer manually transfer this data between computers.
I have advocated for you to get monetarily compensated in the past and I myself would be more than willing to do so. AND you need to be more communicative in advance with the people that depend on the software you provide. Otherwise they can not depend on your software and will need to choose other solutions.
What do I do now?

Sincerely,
david

On restore of a window, do not re-open previously closed tabs

Roel 10 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Erhhung Yuan 5 lat temu 93

Allow reopening the window in a state as it was save-closed. Preserving the saved state of the already saved tabs on a moment of window save-close.

vladyslav volovyk 9 lat temu

Starting from v0.4.40 is now possible to reopen only the tabs which was open at a time of last window save-close. By Alt-dblclick (or Alt-click if one click option is selected) on saved window title.

This work only with newly saved windows. Not with already saved.

The option to make this as default behavior was not added to not pollute the options.

This feature is unofficial. And even will not be mentioned in documentation.

It is also might broke some day. As it will not be retested upon releases. So if you found it is not work anymore please report me.

Launch TO before opening any Chrome windows

Loony Bin 8 lat temu Ostatnio zmodyfikowane przez Hunter Morgan 8 lat temu 2
I have been trying to figure out a way to open my TO tree before opening Chrome itself (or at least a Chrome window). For me, that is simply easier since I always begin navigating to my tabs straight from TO anyway and always just close the first window that pops up when Chrome launches.

I know that TO can run without any Chrome windows open, so I thought there should be a way to just run it solo from the get-go. To figure this out I ended up running across these Chromium cmdline flags/switches and found one for launching extensions. So far, I have been successful in launching TO solo before Chrome, but I can only access the TO options page and not the actual tree.

In my case, the .exe path with flags looks like this:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --profile-directory="Profile 1" --app-id="eggkanocgddhmamlbiijnphhppkpkmkl"
where Profile 1 is the user I want to open Chrome as and eggkanocgddhmamlbiijnphhppkpkmkl is the TO app-id, found in C:\Users\MyName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Profile 1\Extensions (for Windows).

What I'd like to ask is:
1) Is there another, better way to accomplish this?
2) Can the json or js files be altered so that the app-id flag opens the tree view?
3) Could you add a button to the options page that opens the tree view? (not ideal, but probably easiest for you to implement)

...and since I'm not sure the app-ids are consistent across systems, I found the one for TO by going to Chrome options > Tools > Inspect devices > Extensions > Inspect (for TO) > Resources > any of the last 4 or so menus.

Thanks.
